Walking the beach on Christmas Day
A very pleasant low key Christmas this year. We’ve all reached the point where we’re immune to holiday hype, and appreciate getting together with family more than anything else. Just a walk on the beach together – in winter, even when it’s cold and grey – is a rare treat we all savor.
You shall not pass
I’ve been coming to this place on the coast, off and on, since I was about 9 years old. It’s the beach my daughters have always known, what they think of when you say “beach”. As they grow older, and we become more dispersed, just a few moments together become really important.
